Hello everyone

I hit the road this morning of August 14 at dawn. 5:30 on the bike because after Clarkston, a good hill is waiting for me and I wanted to go before the temperature gets too hot.

Well, I have resumed my solitary habits ... After fifteen days sharing good laughs, good hard rides, and good food around the fire, I tried to convince Patrick to come dip his toes in the Pacific ... But his head was already in France!

This long day of cycling led me to Walla Walla where I was greeted by Robert & Emma, certainly one of my last "warmshower" stopovers.
Robert, working from 17:00 to midnight, left me the house, the dog, showed me the bathroom, gave me a full fridge and full trust. The next morning I got a great breakfast, full of recommendations for the day's stage, cookies and more, a peanut butter sandwich! What more can you say about the "warmshower" welcome?

Back on the road. Today is a great day! I'll put a wheel in Oregon for a few miles before crossing the Columbia River again to Washington state to pitch my tent after Plymouth beside the river.

And here’s the Columbia River.

I'm almost at the end of my journey, and the containers from the beginning of my trip are still traveling with me.
